Dis. OregonNow that the dust has settled on 2016’s second quarter we’ve found motorcycle sales in the U.S. are down 8.6% year over year. This is a huge step backwards because after a major decline during the recession,  motorcycle sales had been inching back up year over year.

With more competition, aggressive financing, innovative product lines, and streamlined operations across the industry this is a bit of surprise. I believe many smaller factors are contributing to the slump in sales.  Continue reading U.S. Motorcycle Sales Are Down Almost 9%

“Harley and the Davidsons” to Premiere on the Discover Channel in September

Harley and The DavidsonsThe Discovery Channel has announced they will be premiering a new mini-series titled “Harley and the Davidsons” on September 5th. The film will chronicle the creation and rise of the Motor Company in 1903 to the historic creation of the Knucklehead motor in the mid-1930’s, including some of the great early flat track race wars with the Indian Motorcycle Company.
